Behind the Scenes: Preparing January's Paper Bento
Share
I wanted to share a small behind-the-scenes moment with you today.
Over the past few days, I’ve been spending time in our garage workshop. I’m laying out stationery, making journal prompt cards, and preparing the pieces that will go into the January Paper Bento.
(You’ll see a photo below — it’s still very much a work in progress.)

Paper Bento launched early this week and as of today, 11 people have already joined Paper Bento. This may not seem like a lot to many, but my heart is full of pride and gratitude.
Paper Bento didn’t exist three months ago, and knowing that these first subscribers believed in the idea enough to join from the very beginning has left me completely over the moon.
To those who’ve already signed up: thank you. Truly. I’m grateful that you’re part of the very start of this, and I don’t take that lightly.
This is still early in our journey and I’m learning as I go. I care deeply about building Paper Bento in a way that’s true to my values, and I’ll continue to make decisions with that care at the center.
If you’ve been considering joining, here’s a quick reminder:
- Orders placed before January 20 will receive the January box
- You’re charged monthly, not upfront
- There’s no automatic renewal beyond your selected commitment
If you made it this far, thank you for reading! I appreciate you being here— whether you’re already subscribed, thinking about it, or simply following along.
Warmly,
Natsuki
