Founder Featured on BOLD Journey Interview

I did an interview with Bold Journey Magazine a few weeks ago. They asked about purpose and how I got here, so I talked about growing up in Japan, my corporate career, and why I started Paper Bento.

I talked about being ten and explaining shrine rituals to tourists in Kyoto. Moving to the US and missing my MONO erasers more than I expected to. A moment at Stationery Fest in New York that made me realize what I'm actually trying to do with this business.

I also get into the three things that mattered most on the way here: trusting my intuition, building real relationships instead of chasing followers, and letting myself be bad at things in public.
